In the Azores Islands, Portugal, tuna fishing is still made in the traditional way, no net, only cane, called "salto e vara", in a 20 meters boat for 20 men. For 8 months, from April to November, this fisherman stay out at sea only going to shore to get some supplies and disembark tuna.
